Company Profile
Substitute Teacher Service, Inc. recruits educational professionals, both newly graduated through retirees to serve as substitute teachers in the Pennsylvania and Delaware state school districts that we service. Our recruiting efforts place over 1,500 teaching professionals on our list at any given time.
STS works in conjunction with the Departments of Education to assure that the professional staff we hire meet all of the requirements necessary for teaching in the state.
The management team of Substitute Teacher Service has over thirty years experience in the temporary industry. Our expertise and recruiting practices in conjunction with employee retention gives us the competitive edge over other staffing agencies of this type.
STS conducts business in the greater Delaware Valley area from it's headquarters in Media, Pennsylvania, with branch offices in Lancaster and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and Newport, Delaware. Our service offices are open 6 days a week, beginning Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. through Friday afternoon until 5:00 p.m. When office staff is not available, our digital call processing systems take over via an automated attendant. Our on line system is available to clients 24 X 7 X 365.
