We have

STS has immediate openings for substitute teachers, teacher aides,
and support personnel. You choose the school districts you
wish to work.
File one application with STS, and we can put you in touch with all of the school districts we service in Pennsylvania. We service Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, Dauphin, Lancaster and York counties, and the Red Clay School Districts in Delaware (2). For PA teaching, you will need to meet all of the requirements of number (1)
* Pennsylvania law requires that substitute teachers be PA certified in order to teach in a public school district entity. Immediate openings for per diem, long term and district substitute teachers for elementary and secondary education in all areas of PA certification. William Penn takes in Aldan, Colwyn, Darby, East Lansdowne, Lansdowne, and Yeadon Boroughs in Delaware County. STS offers a wide array of Benefit plans and unemployment compensation in the summer months. Per Diem rates start at $90, $100 after 20 days, and $110 after 40 days of service in the district. District substitutes start at $120 per diem. Long term substitute positions are also available.
If you have a Bachelor's Degree and are working toward a teaching certification, you can sign up as a substitute teacher. You must complete the necessary paperwork, have a physician qualify you, meet all of the requirements listed below, and attend a brief training session on classroom management.

Instructional Assistant - William Penn School District
William Penn School District has an immediate opening
for a floating instructional assistant to assist the classroom teacher in
grades K through 4 Life Skills and Emotional Support classrooms. LS or ES
experience would be helpful, but not required. PA certification in Special
Education or Emergency will be accepted. If you are considering a career in
these areas, this would be an excellent opportunity to gain work experience
in this area.

Substitute Teacher Service has immediate openings for per-diem subs in
the Chester-Upland School district. All certification* areas are needed
for both elementary and secondary schools.

The Delaware County Intermediate Unit, through Substitute Teacher Service, is looking for special people to assist special needs children. These are substitute positions that may require some lifting or other physical activity. The Sub Service will call you for placement on an as needed basis. Choose the schools you want to work in and enjoy the feeling that you are helping these wonderful children realize their educational potential. The starting salary is $90 per day.
