STS has immediate openings for substitute teachers, teacher aides, and support personnel. You choose the school districts you wish to work.

File one application with STS, and we can put you in touch with all of the school districts we service in Pennsylvania. We service Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, Dauphin, Lancaster and York counties, and the Red Clay School Districts in Delaware (2). For PA teaching, you will need to meet all of the requirements of number (1)

Technology Specialist
7.0 hours per day

Must have completed at least two years of postsecondary study (48 college credits) or possess an associates degree or higher

Available Immediately through the end of the 2008-09 school year

Position Summary: The primary function of this position is to provide support in all aspects of the school’s instructional technology services and infrastructure to students and staff.

Duties include:
1. Provides support in use of district standard hardware, software, network, peripherals, and multimedia equipment.
2. Troubleshoot and repair all audiovisual and computer equipment. Prepare equipment for outside repair, when under warranty, or requiring repairs not done in house.
3. unpack, assemble, set up and install all audiovisual and computer equipment.
4. Install, update, troubleshoot and instruct staff on all District supported software.
5. Maintain an accurate inventory, including warranty information, of the instructional technology equipment in the school.

Substitute Teachers - William Penn School District
Immediate openings for per diem, long term and district substitute teachers for elementary and secondary education in all areas of PA certification. William Penn takes in Aldan, Colwyn, Darby, East Lansdowne, Lansdowne, and Yeadon Boroughs in Delaware County. STS offers a wide array of Benefit plans and unemployment compensation in the summer months.  Per Diem rates start at $90, $100 after 20 days, and $110 after 40 days of service in the district. District substitutes start at $120 per diem. Long term substitute positions are also available.

If you have a Bachelor's Degree and are working toward a teaching certification, you can sign up as a substitute teacher. You must complete the necessary paperwork, have a physician qualify you, meet all of the requirements listed below, and attend a brief training session on classroom management.
