As a substitute teacher, you will be responsible for carrying out the lesson plans and monitoring the assigned classwork of the regularly appointed teacher for whom you are substituting. Your goal is to maintain the established learning environment as if the regular teacher were present.

Proof of a high school diploma or higher education is required.

Substitute Teacher Service, (STS) has openings for clerical  are individuals who work alongside administrators, office staff and some work behind the scenes to ensure that there is an efficient infrastructure within which effective teaching and learning can take place. 

Substitute Teacher Service, (STS) is looking for custodial substitutes on an as needed basis.

The basic requirements are:

• General Cleaning (corridors, stairs, lavatories, classrooms)
• Trash removal, carpets, glass doors, windows
• Light maintenance duties
  Candidates must be able to:
• Frequently lift or carry 25-75 pounds,
• Use basic maintenance tools and machinery,
• Bend, stoop, squat and reach above shoulder height,
• Able to work independently and as a team member and other duties as assigned.
